Forgot to post this the other day. Saw this when I was waiting for my train. Quite a nice sentiment.

The Meaning of Liff.

How cool is this book. Pretty much pocket size its about 7/10ths of the size of a usual paper back. And a bargain at something like £2. Its written by Douglas Adams And John Lloyd.

So, this film looks rubbish, in my opinion. And the game looks even worse. But worst of all is the flipping posters, enough of the half face design. Face/Off Did it and many many other films have too. Can we get some nice poster design back? What happened to people caring about their advertising. Some of the good posters I've seen recently though (on a more positive note (I'm also going to apologise in advance for jumping on the band wagon for this)) is Where The Wild Things Are, easily my most anticipated film of the year, what a lovely poster they've made for it. Also, check out the poster for Moon that came out last year? Davie Bowies sons? Sci-fi film. That was pretty good too.

Research Video.

At Uni we got given a brief to make a 1 minute video showing the research we'd undertaken. For it I linked it back to my own work by scanning everything. I also made the music using noises from the scanner.

Scanner.

So recently I discovered my scanner as an way of producing work. Really enjoying making and the process that I have started to create doing so. Here's a couple of examples.

This firstly is an image I took with my Diana F+. Took to a shop and got developed. Then scanned.


And second, I have been attempting to create grotesque portraits. Almost caricatures. That are funny, but also fairly dark... scary even?

Tonight is Silver Hip's at Hi-fi. Some how I managed to rope myself into taking photos for them as like event photography type of ordeal. So wish me luck eh! First time ever for me to be doing this. Got a MATE getting in free so we'll probably have a laugh.
